Make a Gift to Psychology

Your gift makes a difference by providing scholarships for our graduate and undergraduate students, funding for student research, and opportunities for students to attend scholarly meetings. Our special funds in Psychology are:

  • The Psychology Student Awards Endowed Fund at UC Santa Cruz
This endowment is used to make one or more awards to full-time graduate or undergraduate students majoring in psychology, to assist them with the costs of faculty-sponsored independent research, research-related travel, or travel to academic conferences.
  • Frank Barron Memorial Award
Frank X. Barron, professor emeritus of psychology and one of UCSC’s most distinguished faculty, was internationally renowned for his study of creativity and personality. This endowment will provide an annual student research award presented in Frank’s name. The department will match gift funds donated for this purpose up to a maximum of $5,000.
  • Psychology Department Unrestricted Gift Fund
Unrestricted donations give the department flexibility to support promising opportunities and meet pressing needs.
